IdaFlo TR
IdaFlo TR is a wristband with a companion app
Real-time radial artery flow monitoring during transradial compression. The measurement layer for a clinical standard that every major cardiology society now endorses.
IdaFlo TR - The Patent Hemostasis Monitoring Layer
IdaFlo TR is a non-sterile, single-use Class II wristband that monitors radial artery blood flow in real time during post-procedure compression. It is positioned distal to any existing compression band, turning a blind compression process into a measured one.
The device fits into existing nurse workflow with no procedural change. The patient is unaware it is operating. The clinician gains continuous visibility into whether the radial artery is still perfused downstream of the compression point.

Arterial Pulse
The radial artery beats against the skin under the compression band
Elastomer Deformation
The IDASense conductive-elastomer sensor deforms with each pulse
Continuous Flow Signal
The deformation is converted into a real-time radial flow signal benchmarked against Doppler ultrasound
01
A precision sensor is placed over the radial artery, positioned distal to the compression point. The sensor uses IDASense conductive-elastomer technology to detect pressure changes, vibration, motion, and volume differentials associated with arterial pulse transmission.
02
A predictive algorithm converts the raw sensor signal into a continuous estimate of radial artery blood flow. The algorithm is benchmarked against Doppler ultrasound, the clinical gold standard for flow measurement.
03
The clinician uses the live flow signal to titrate compression pressure. Patent Hemostasis is achieved from minute one. Bleeding is controlled while blood continues to flow through the radial artery.
04
Continuous monitoring runs through the entire compression period. If flow is compromised, IdaFlo TR provides immediate visual indication so pressure can be adjusted before patency is lost.
05
A standardized, auditable post-procedural compression record is generated for every patient. Hemostasis time drops. Radial Artery Occlusion risk drops.
The artery is preserved for the next procedure.

Technology
How It Works
A precision conductive-elastomer sensor converts mechanical deformation from arterial pulsation into an electrical signal. A predictive algorithm converts the signal into a continuous estimate of radial artery blood flow, benchmarked against Doppler ultrasound.

The IDASense Platform
IDASense is IDAHealth's proprietary sensor platform, built on conductive-polymer sensing technology. The platform is engineered for non-invasive, continuous physiological monitoring at the skin surface.
IdaFlo TR is the first commercial product on the IDASense platform, focused on radial artery patency during transradial compression. Adjacent clinical applications, protected by a granted patent family extending into the late 2030s and beyond, are under evaluation.
